Sometimes pool owners have the desire to add a hot tub to their pool and when they talk to a builder they find out the price can be very large to now add one. In that situation it’s a lot more cost effective to buy a portable hot tub and have it near the pool so you can still go between them reasonably. This service call was a leak and normally it can be as simple as changing the gaskets on the heater but in this situation the leak was coming from the freeze protection fitting that is sealed inside the heater. We could try to put a sealant over it but the leak would keep building up until it forces its way out again. I’ve gotten proficient at changing heaters without draing the spa so after that was done I tested the equipment and checked all the light caps just to be sure. Yesterday we installed a 2026 Hotspot Relay to a new owner in Kerrville and not only was it a very smooth install but it looked so good I had trouble picking the angle I liked more. The Relay has seating for 5 and utilizes two different pumps for jets, a circulation pump just for the heater and a load of LED lights both in the tub and outside on the corners. Pictured here with a set of steps and a handrail but not with a cover lifter, sometimes space is an issue for a lifter but in this situation if they did want one we could have gone with an Uprite lifter that stands straight up and needs less clearance. #hotspotrelay #hotspring_spas #kerrville #livingthedream
Here is a service call from a few weeks back, this is a Jacuzzi J335 that was suffering a leak. After some investigative journalism I found the light cap behind the jetted pillow was broken but I also found the waterfall leaking. Because the light cap broke it also ruined the light behind it so I pulled a new one. The whole repair didn’t take long at all. I spent more time cleaning and washing the concrete around the spa so it looked nicer for the owners. #jacuzzi #j335 #harpertx #spaservice #kerrville
