Here is a recent service call, this Jacuzzi J-315 had an issue with an open flow error on the keypad. Normally we ask the customer to try the filter trick but it didn’t clear out. Turned out that the circulation pumps shaft rod calcified and couldn’t turn anymore. I even tried spinning the shaft manually to break it free and it was too far gone. So one new pump later and everything was working like it should. This spa is tucked away inside the greenhouse so it doesn’t require a high heat in the tub because the room is already humid. #jacuzzi #kerrville #sparepair #humid
Today’s service call was this Jacuzzi Soul that was having an issue with no lighting. After opening the front panel we found the LED light pak developed a bubble which must have been a power surge. The bubble is something not right going on and after changing that the lights started working again. While in there we found a leak from the ozonator. The two devices are not near each other so they couldn’t be responsible for the other. The light ozonator leak must have been running down the side of itself and caused the device to burn a hole and become non functional. Both devices changed and the spa seems to be running great. Here’s another recent delivery, a Freeflow Azure that may have been delivered on the hottest day in the history of mankind. This is the new line from Watkins Wellness we are carrying and this is a very well built hot tub. These are made from roto molded plastic which means they are light enough to move around when it’s empty in the event you want it facing a new direction. Equipped with a 2 speed pump and holding around 235 gallons and seating for 3 this spa really can be for alone time or have a guest come over and share. The keypad has simple to use controls and minimal led lighting as to not distract you from the stars at night. Here is a recent delivery, technically a second delivery, to a customer out in Mason. We delivered a Hotspring Jetsetter in 2023 to this residence and it worked fine for the entire time until he had a leak. After many hours of searching one of us found the problem, the floor developed a crack. Since it was under warranty the recommended course of action was replace the entire hot tub. Hotspring sent one to us and we replaced the entire spa. This is not a normal situation because spa shells don’t just crack stepping into them. In the almost 9 years I have never replaced an entire spa under warranty, that speaks to the craftsmanship of the equipment but also the character of the manufacturer that they are willing to do this. The only thing we had to do was destroy the previous spa so it couldn’t be refurbished. This is another reason to shop at a dealer instead of online, dealers can fix things under warranty and when you buy online it is what it is. #kerrville #masontx #hotspringjetsetter #hotspring_spas
Here is a recent delivery, a Hotspring Aria that we dropped off in Fredericksburg Texas. These folks already had a pool to swim in but they decided they wanted a hot tub as well. This is a phenomenal spa using a single speed and a two speed pump, a circulation pump just for the no fault heater and if you so desire it is capable of using a salt water sanitization system. A customer recently came into our store and ordered 4 bags of soda ash weighing 50 pounds each. Normally we ask why does anyone need so much, in pools it’s used to raise Ph and no one should be that low. He said he was using it to kill black mold from the flood water that was inside his home. So I looked it up and yes it does. If you are having an issue with black mold we can get you up to 50 pounds at around 49 dollars a bag. How Soda Ash Kills Black Mold. Alkaline Spike: It raises the surface pH to a level most molds cannot tolerate. Dehydration: It draws moisture out of the fungal structure, drying it out. Residue Protection: The leftover powder film physically deters new airborne spores from settling. Step-by-Step Cleaning Method. For safe and effective application on hard or semi-porous surfaces:Mix the Solution: Dissolve 1 to 2 tablespoons of soda ash into a spray bottle filled with warm water.Apply Thoroughly: Spray the area heavily until it is completely saturated.Scrub and Wipe: Let it sit for 10–15 minutes, scrub the black mold off with a stiff brush, and wipe clean.Apply a Shield: Spray a light, final mist of the solution over the clean area and let it air dry to leave a protective barrier.
Here we have a 2010 Hotspring Aria that was having an issue with not heating. The owner tried replacing the heater relay board but there was no luck. When buying parts off the internet you need to know that sometimes the person selling you the part doesn’t know the right part or doesn’t care. In this case they sold him a heater relay board short one relay and was incompatible. After installing the original board the only thing that wasn’t responding was the pressure switch inside the heater. After bypassing the pressure switch the heater began pulling 15 amps and became hot to the touch. If you need a part we usually have them in store and we will most definitely order the right one if we don’t.
